The following describes the performance changes of several commonly used plastic recycled materials

PVC: the color change is obvious after regeneration. After one regeneration and extrusion, it will be light brown, and it will almost become opaque brown after three times. The specific viscosity does not change at the second time, and tends to decrease more than twice. No matter hard or soft PVC, stabilizer should be added during regeneration. In order to make the remanufactured products shiny, 1% - 3% ABS mixed can be added during regeneration

polyethylene: after regeneration, the performance of polyethylene decreases and its color turns yellow. After multiple extrusion, the viscosity of HDPE decreased and that of LDPE increased

polypropylene: during one regeneration, the color is almost not so good that some socks cannot be cut with sharp scissors, and the melt index increases. More than twice, the color intensifies in spring, and the melt index still rises. The breaking strength and elongation decreased after regeneration, but there was no problem in use

polystyrene: the use of low smoke flame retardants will increase significantly, and the color will turn yellow after birth, so recycled polystyrene is generally colored. The decline degree of various properties of recycled materials is directly proportional to the regeneration times. The breaking strength does not change significantly when the amount of admixture is less than 60%, and the ultimate viscosity does not change significantly when the amount of admixture is less than 40%

other plastics: the color change of ABS after regeneration is significant, but the performance does not change significantly when the mixing amount is not more than 20% - 30%

nylon regeneration also has the problems of discoloration and performance degradation, and the appropriate mixing amount is less than 20%. After regeneration, the elongation decreases, but the elasticity tends to increase
